First Step Counseling Services, Inc was established in 1983 by Lou Ann Solem-Tietjen and the late Kent Solem, Licensed Addiction Professionals. Our practice is locally owned and operated.

Our programs are designed to allow you to remain in your home and continue with your job and family life. Our treatment stresses and utilizes the philosophy of the 12 steps.

Treating abuse and dependency on drugs and alcohol is our mission.
